During 2023 and prior to his diagnosis of terminal cancer, our co-founder Paul Smith recognized that ICN needed to progress from its Founding Stage and was laying the groundwork for this transition with Luke Healy, our other Co-Founder, and the ICN Board.
Luke has named our new ICN season the “Co-Creating Stage,” and he describes it this way: “When Paul transitioned to being a living ancestor in our midst, he passed the mantle for ICN’s ongoing evolution not only to me, but to the whole ICN community. We are all the co-creators of the future of ICN, and the invitation is for us to enter into greater collaboration and creativity together.”
Luke's description of our Co-Creating Stage makes clear the importance of each person in the ICN community. He also expressed his hope each of us will choose to use our gifts for the loving evolution of ICN, of Christianity and of the world. In each issue of The Co-Creator, we will introduce you to fellow co-creators and ways you can be as involved in the ICN community as you choose. In this issue, you will meet Robert Martin, our new Board Member, and Gee Baynosa, our new Community Assistant.
