As our ICN community navigates this time of transition following Paul Smith’s passing, we are committed to journeying together. How our community will continue to evolve in this new stage of WeCreating will be a collective process—one we can all be a part of communally.

Our organization is a vibrant network made up of fascinating individuals, diverse WeSpace groups, many gatherings of mystical practice and deepening connection, and circles of committed participants working to nurture and foster the life of our community.

Whether you’re in a WeSpace group, involved in other ICN gatherings, or are engaged in the creative work locally or with other communities, you are a vital part of the energetic work of WeCreating with the spirit’s call to evolve. Thank you for being a part of the loving evolution of Christianity and the world!

In each issue of The We-Creator, we will introduce you to fellow we-creators—individuals in our community who are a part of co-creating ICN with their time, talents, creativity, and financial support. We are deeply appreciative of all who participate in this beautiful WeCreating.

We’ll also introduce you to one of our 40 WeSpace Groups or contributing Circles. And, as always, you’re also invited to step into the creative act in new and helpful ways, engaging in the work of loving evolution together!

Community Member Spotlight:

Christy Thrasher

A life-long spiritual nomad, Christy Thrasher joined her first WeSpace group in the summer of 2019 and immediately knew she had found both a community of like-minded seekers and the home for the higher consciousness for which she had long been searching.

A graphic designer and brand strategist by trade, Christy reached out to Luke and Paul to offer her expertise. And soon she became ICN’s volunteer in-house graphic designer and brand consultant: designing the network’s logo, building upon its website, social media presence, and formulating a cohesive brand identity (in addition to coordinating email blasts, annual reports and the like).

Such functionary commitments aside, Christy is a tireless cheerleader for the group; she participated in the womb-circle and regularly contributes to the Seed Spreaders Circle. “I have never been a part of something magical like this before,” she says. “I have loved every moment of my time with ICN. Words cannot express the gratitude and love I feel for this community. At long last, I have found a spiritual home. I have found my people.”

Community Spotlight:

WeSpace Group

The WeSpace group we are highlighting this month has been meeting since April, 2020. Five of the original members continue to meet. They share a belief it is “the Spirit’s call to evolve” that brought them together and keeps them together.

In addition to their profound sense of God at work in their midst, there are several characteristics the group has identified that contribute to its longevity. Inclusiveness is an important value: when discussing whether to meet on Memorial Day, one member texted, “I prefer it when we can all be together” and was answered with texts agreeing with her. Flexibility has also been important when the schedule needed to be changed to include everyone. Humility no one attempts to be “the leader,” leading is shared. Honesty each member brings their authentic self to their gatherings, no one pretends to be having a good day if they are not.

ICN Organization Update

Our new Community Assistant, Gee, has been learning the ropes and getting to know our community more and more over these first two months with us.

She has already been helping with organization and implementation, bringing more support to our processes and streamlining administration.

And she is here to help our community with whatever you might need. If you ever have a question about finding someone’s contact information, a difficulty with a technical issue, trouble finding a link, or anything else that could use assistance, she is here to assist you!
