ICN Gathering 2021

A Retreat of Mystical Communion and Spiritual Evolution

Session One - Friday: “Celebrating Our Roots”

Breakout Group Questions:

We invite you to pause the video when we go into our breakout groups and spend your own time reflecting on the following questions:

1. What is your story of discovery, your story of movement into mystical community if you have one?
2. What are the challenges that you’ve experienced when seeking spiritual community?
3. What is or has been one of the strongest spiritual longings of your heart?
4. Is there anything you feel perhaps being invoked tonight for your spiritual journey in this time in your life?

Session Two - Saturday Morning: “Into the Mystic Field Together”

Deepening Opportunities - Saturday Afternoon

Mystical Healing & Wombfulness Wisdom Circle

Generative Open Space Conversation Group

Jean Gebser Wisdom Circle

Whole-Body Mystical Awakening Gentle Yoga Practice Session

(We offer our apologies as our session on Integrative Journaling failed to record, so we are working on creating an alternative experience we can share in the future.)

Session Three - Saturday Evening: “Popup Mystical Gallery”

Sunday Morning: “Breakfast with Paul”

Session Four - Sunday Morning: “Cosmic Communion”

QUESTIONS for time of Reflection & Integration:

1. Feel free to process and reflect on the meditation experience we just shared, following whatever is arising and being brought forth for you.
2. If you have been a part of the retreat, you can use this time to reflect and process what has come forth for you this weekend, and in what ways you might want to integrate and respond going forward.
3. You can also reflect and process with the following quote from this week’s writing:

“This integral attitude may be fruitfully combined with certain practices, such as meditation . . . Yet these techniques are of secondary importance, and their only value lies in facilitating that inner attitude. What is needed is care, much patience, and the discarding of many preconceived opinions, wishful dreams, and blind demands; and it calls for a certain detachment toward oneself and the world, a gradually maturing balance between all inherent components and consciousness structures.

Whoever has ennobled, intensified, and prepared his consciousness, so that an enrichment of the Integral consciousness is achieved, lives in a state of participation in the world as a whole. This participation, which is conditioned by the Integral consciousness and which, even now, is to be found in individuals in every part of the world, holds the possibility for the healing of the world. It will depend on those few who are already consciously realizing this process and who are, thus, enabling the new forces to take effect in the individual, the world, and humanity.”

Questions for Breakout group time:

We invite you to pause the video when we go into our breakout groups and spend your own time reflecting on the following questions:

1. Share whatever you like from your time of reflection and integration, or from your experience during the meditation, or the weekend.
2. What is yours to be/do? What is ours to be/do?
3. Do you have any questions coming up in you now in response to this morning or this weekend that you’d like to bring to the whole group afterwards?

Closing Song:

Many thanks to Jon Jelfs for writing this song and creating this video.
