Communal Well Being

This week’s rhythm of loving evolution: Being

From the sacred beckoning of spirit and through our divine becoming, we welcome ways of being who we truly are in Christ.

Here and now, we offer and respond to invitations to inhabit our divine being in conscious and spacious ways.

We make space for being who we are becoming, who we truly are, who we are now.

We rest in abiding within our holy communion, our Christ union with all things.

And we open up to new and deepening habits, the in-habiting of new ways of being that authentically reflect the beauty, truth, and goodness of who we have become in our transformative work and in the grace of the mystical body of Christ.

If you haven’t yet engaged with the Beckoning & Becoming offerings, we encourage you to explore those first:

Vocation in Divine Communion

Our Divine Vocation is a calling for us to live from the wholeness of who we truly are. It is our vocare, which is Latin for “to call,” “to summon,” “to name.”

It is less defined by what we do and is more about who we are—living the truth of our being. We are called to be who we truly are. Our true name. Our summons to the Really Real.

The call to be Christ. To God-Being-Us, in human form, as we are both in our precious personhood and in the reality of our communal being.

Perhaps, so far, you have moved more with the individual sense of your divine vocation. The uniqueness of each of our personal expressions in the world is a vital calling. And it is not the whole story.

From the single self, we might now welcome more fully the divine vocation of our communal being. Drawing upon the communal well of being. Finding our well-being in the reality of divine communion, which too is the fundamental truth of who we truly are. Who we truly are.

As we have moved with the beckoning and ways of becoming in our divine vocation, we now welcome these movements of being into our divine vocation as our communal well being.

Entering the WeSpace of Our Communal Well Being

In a WeSpace group or together with others who share this intention, we might more consciously open into the depths of the communal well.

In ICN, we often primarily move into our experience of the WeSpace through our heart center, which is usually the most natural and easeful place of relational connection. Here, in this loosely guided invitational process, we welcome “the deep We,” as we rest in the living waters of our unified Source reality.

This is not anything we need become or change into. It is who we already always are.

May this guided invocation be an opening, a receiving, a resting into the natural home of our communal being:

Outpouring from the Communal Well – Water Wheel

From the resting place of the deep well, as the current flows, we might receive the movement of the spring, bubbling up and flowing out into the streams of living water and the rivers of life.

The living water we are.

The waterways of divine vocation finding their channels of loving outflow.

This is the communal current of divine vitality and inspiration sprawling out like a vast delta.

And, in our distinct flow in specific communities and particular relations, we might welcome a movement of being, felt as a water wheel.

With the water wheel, the force of turning is created by both the receiving flow and the giving outpouring. The movement is one and the same.

Perhaps we are each, in our own way, one of the “buckets” of the wheel, collecting and giving living water as an empowering force of love in the world.

Just as we too are the water, so we give of ourselves as an outpouring, just as we are being infilled continuously.

In the same way as that of Christ Jesus, we give of ourselves as a holy offering.

Again, all of this is not just a personal process, but inflows from, interflows amongst, and outflows into divine communion—the mystical body of Christ alive in the world today.

As we step more into WeCreating, we are discovering and cultivating new and evolving pathways and channels of loving expression and creative transformation.

This is a vital calling for us in the world today. Whether as integral, mystical, Christian, spiritual, and beyond, we all will need to take up our divine vocation to see the future become what it must, not just for survival but a thriving, beautiful, loving reality. This is no utopia, but an ongoing, evolving joining of heaven and earth, here and now, and in the days to come.

This continues to be the emerging divine vocation of ICN.

It is coming forth in our midst, more and more!

We hold all of these rhythms of being in the field of belonging.

In support of our rhythms of evolution—Beckoning, Becoming, and Being—you are also invited to participate in a gathering called WeEvolve, on Fridays at 10 am Central Time.

This week’s WeEvolve gathering will be a spacious, communal time of Being together.
