Being Immersed in Divine Vitality
This week’s rhythm of loving evolution: Being
From the sacred beckoning of spirit and through our divine becoming, we embrace and inhabit new and deepening ways of being.
Here and now, we offer and respond to invitations to inhabit our divine being in conscious and spacious ways.
We make space for being who we are becoming, who we truly are, who we are now.
We rest in abiding within our holy communion, our Christ union with all things.
And we open up to new and deepening habits, the in-habiting of new ways of being that authentically reflect the beauty, truth, and goodness of who we have become in our transformative work and in the grace of the mystical body of Christ.
We hold all of these rhythms of being in the field of belonging.
In support of our rhythms of evolution—Beckoning, Becoming, and Being—you are also invited to participate in a new gathering called WeEvolve, on Fridays at 10 am Central Time.
This week’s WeEvolve gathering will be a spacious, communal time of Being together.

If you haven’t yet engaged with the Beckoning & Becoming offerings, we encourage you to explore those first:
Inhabiting Divine Vitality
The beckoning to divine vitality is an invitation to welcome the experiential inhabiting of a reality that already is present. It is already here. You are already living in divine vitality right this very moment.
Our human vitality subsists and sustains us so long as we are alive and breathing, yet there are times when we feel more alive. We have the experience of vitality charging and energizing our sense of being alive. Perhaps you’ve felt this in the midst of the beauty of nature, or in a precious moment in relationship with a loved one. Or we maybe have felt it in the midst of great pain—the strength of our will to live, even if small and covered over by suffering. The birth of a child is charged with vitality, and often experienced in the vividness of pain and joy. So too in the sacred moment of death.
In the same way, divine vitality is always present, continuously creating our being in God in every moment. It is the energy beneath the ground of our being—the great Source flow upwelling into us at all times. And there are times and ways of experiencing more fully our felt sense of this energetic and spiritual dynamic of our being. We have welcomed invocations and evocations of becoming last week.
And now, we are invited to simply sink down into this ever-present reality of divine vitality.
Immersing in our deepest being in God,
Who we truly are,
Suffused, imbued, and enlivened
through inhabiting the divine vitality
of God-Being-Us,
Alive in us.
Alive as us.
Here and now
You are invited now to an inhabiting movement of being, immersing in Divine Vitality
Allow the images, quotes, and symbols below to suffuse you in divine vitality. Welcome these as an enveloping, a permeation, a provocation of divine being, vitalized in you now.
We invite you to engage with them slowly and spaciously, letting your being absorb and rest in each. If you like, you can follow this simple process as an aid:
First, tune into the fullness of your embodied awareness with a short Whole-Body Mystical Awakening practice, opening up to your presence through your heart, your spiritual womb, your feet, and your head.
Then, move into the first dynamic (phrase, quote, image), pausing to be with it in a spacious and open way, receiving its energy and the felt sense of it in a part of your body, a particular center, or your whole body—be immersed in it.
At first, thoughts and associations might arise, which you can welcome holistically. After a time, let yourself rest from thought and any reflections that have arisen, simply feeling and being immersed in and through your whole being—in yourself, in communion, in all.
When you’re ready, welcome a sense of suffusion as you allow the energy and dynamic to more fully inhabit you, here and now.
Repeat this process with each of the provocations—each section below—then at the end you’ll find a reflection invitation for ongoing integration and inhabiting.
If you like, you can also play music to aid in the experience—either choosing your own or the playlist here (though be aware ads may play):
The Fountain of Life – Rivers of Living Water
“And from your Innermost Being will flow Rivers of Living Water.”
– Jesus
The Surge of Plentitude – Charged with Love
“Love is not a guide; it is, rather, an engine, the self energy of Being, life itself.”
– Raimon Panikkar
The Astonishing Light – Suffused with Radiance
“I wish I could show you the astonishing light of your own being.”
– Hafiz
The Living Source & Origin of All – Eternal Wellspring
“The day will come when, after harnessing the ether, the winds, the tides, gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And, on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, humanity will have discovered fire.”
– Teilhard de Chardin
Inhabiting New Habits of Being
From this experience of immersion, which can continue to be ongoing and experienced in our lives at any moment, consider how you might be drawn to any new habits of being that are arising from this inhabitation of Divine Vitality.
